Here's a few progress photos of our new VL Commodore race car. The paint has now been applied and will be finished in the classic BT1 Canary Yellow with grey bumpers and trim.

Most of the labour intensive aspects of the build are tackled now. We'll keep you posted as the car is completed.

It’s been a busy few months at the Bresciani workshop with many cars undergoing modifications.

Pat’s EA Falcon has just upgraded to a Garret T51 roller bearing turbo sitting on a set of custom extractors. Boost is controlled via a 44mm external Tial wastegate. The car is also fitted with an Autronic computer, forged bottom end, Tremec 5-speed gearbox and brass button clutch through a 9-inch diff. The combination has made 435kW at the wheels on 25psi boost on an initial tune with more to come.

Vince has trailered his very clean orange/gold Calais from Canberra to Melbourne for a full Bresciani Racing 9-second engine package featuring an M48 MoTeC, custom extractors, BR plenum and a 2-speed Powerglide transmission. Also down from Sydney is Tony’s green LC Torana which will be in for a similar RB30 custom package. The RB30 powered 300ZX is almost complete with a T04Z turbo about to be fitted.

Paul’s stock internal R33 GTS-t features custom extractors, T66 turbo, 700cc injectors and a MicroTech computer. Through a 3-speed Jatco transmission the Skyline has made 285kW on just 15psi boost. Phil's white Calais also carries a set of upside down extractors, T04Z turbo, MoTeC CDI and is about to be fitted with a Powerglide transmission to make 400+kW on race fuel. Another 9-second package just around the corner is Vlad's BT1. The car will feature a T04Z turbo, custom extractors, MoTeC M4 Pro and a trans-braked 3-speed.

Besim’s XCHSER BT1 is back at the track now fitted with a Powerglide transmission. After a couple of outings, Besim has already run 10.07 at 136mph with a 9-second pass just around the corner. Our own PANNIC BT1 has also run a few passes of late, our best being 9.29. We are hoping that with a bit more fine tuning we can improve on our 8.96-second record, so keep an eye out for both cars at the track.
